clear recents in dock – quicktime – MPlayerX

Looking to clear the recents from your dock (at least Quicktime or MPlayerX) this should work with other apps as well: Launch the app you want to clear the recents from:   Then, file —> open recent —> clear menu

Looking for the library folder in OS X 10.7 Lion

If you are trying to access the Library folder in Apple’s new Mac OS X 10.7 Lion it’s been hidden. It’s now located in the go menu the trick is to hold the “alt/option” key while in the “Go” menu and it will appear.
