clear recents in dock – quicktime – MPlayerX

Looking to clear the recents from your dock (at least Quicktime or MPlayerX) this should work with other apps as well: Launch the app you want to clear the recents from:   Then, file —> open recent —> clear menu

Since the old ‘Empty Cache…’ item has gone missing in the main menu in Safari 6.0, you might be thinking this function has been removed. Actually, its still there, but is somewhat hidden.
