So, last weekend I was tinkering around on my car when I received an email (someone looking for some help). So, I was emailing back and forth & had forgot that my phone was sitting on my lap without a case. I stood up to run in to get something out of the house and crash the iPhone hits the driveway and cracks the screen. Now, the phone was still completely functional but, I didn’t want to go 2 years with a busted iPhone 6. I typically keep my iPhone in a custom case but with the handheld gimbal I purchased I had found it easier to balance the gimbal when the phone was not in the case.
Now as far as the repair was concerned:
You can mail it in to Apple or take it into an Apple store. I opted for the Apple store option. If going into the store make a reservation as spots fill up quick.
the repair it self was about $118 for the iPhone 6 other models will vary in price. And I was pleasantly surprised that the repair was done in about an hour. (even with the zoo of the AppleWatch launch)
